Visual Basic Developer
Bluecrux is a team of business consultants with a passion for supply chain & operations. We believe in personal commitment, customer focus and simply “going for it”. And we’re growing fast, so we want to keep the wheel turning.
Here’s the basic truth: as a VBA developer on our Binocs team, you will be involved in things that impact thousands of people working with leading pharmaceutical and food companies.
Binocs is a web-based application that aligns the work demand and capacity of those people. You will be responsible for the Binocs “satellites” – applications that communicate with Binocs. These range from integrations with other systems, enhanced Excels for input processing and upload, extracts that create automatic Excel KPI dashboards, etc.
√ You will take part in client workshops to understand the requirements and details.
√ You will design the approach to be adopted and a user-friendly Excel front end.
√ You will write the VBA code and link it to Binocs via our API framework.
√ You will co-create with our clients until it works for them.
Catch our drift? Read on.
√ You love data. You’re someone who receives a CSV file of new data and can’t wait to dig in and start exploring.
√ You’ll scrutinize business process data and performance data, and define how we can use them to support planning processes.
√ You have programming experience. You don’t have to be a computer scientist, but you should have a passion for programming – preferably in VBA.
√ You work independently. Day-to-day planning and keeping track of progress is a no-brainer.
√ You like to share your ideas. We love having a good brainstorm to come up with new ideas and perspectives.
√ You’re eager to learn. You’ll dive into new technologies, new approaches and new concepts and apply them right away.
√ A competitive salary, including a company car.
√ Room for initiative, room to enhance your personal and professional skills, but most importantly: room to be yourself (everyone else is already taken ;))
√ Brand new offices in Aalst and Mechelen, close to the E40 and E19. On your way to a client or on your way back home, it’s easy for you to pop in.
√ A great ‘small’ team of hands-on supply chain professionals
