Due to strong growth in the last couple of years, the consolidation of financial figures was becoming more and more challenging for the finance organization. Every forecast and budget cycle numbers from all 20+ sites worldwide needed to be collected and all updates were done in Excel and shared via email. This took a lot of time and effort to reconcile so there was a high need do revise this approach.

Here, the consolidation was fully automated and it enabled version management for each forecast cycle, allowing easy comparison. Site managers now had immediate access to their own data through selective user access. On top, this seemed to be the best tailored solution of external purchasing.
