Our customer – a large player in the frozen food industry – supplies its continuously growing markets around the world. They do this in a sustainable way with respect for people and the environment, whilst carefully preserving nature’s precious gifts. They are an international leader in their segments, with their headquarters in Belgium. Over the last decade, the company has made several international acquisitions and merged with a key player in the food service-, industry- and retail sectors.

Challenges

The customer was facing challenges with project approval, prioritization and follow-up.

No consistent or structured project management and a lack of change management.

The need for a company-wide, harmonized leading practice for their active projects and preparation for a phased ERP rollout in the near future.

Solution

To help manage the challenges, bluecrux stepped in with their expertise in Project/Portfolio Management and Change Management.

Bluecrux provided support by setting up a Transformation Office covering portfolio, project and change management. A project lifecycle from idea to a follow-up in business as usual was set up. A customer-specific project methodology was established, made tangible with the rollout of project- and change management toolboxes, and practices across the organization. Training was provided to embed the new way of working.
