Change management for implementing a new supply chain model


The world’s largest biotech company headquartered in Basel owns truly differentiated medicines in oncology, immunology, infectious diseases, ophthalmology and diseases of the central nervous system. The customer is also the world leader in in-vitro diagnostics and tissue-based cancer diagnostics, and a frontrunner in diabetes management.


  • They wanted to implement a new E2E supply chain planning operating model, integrated and transparent across teams all over the globe, allowing to meet the patients’ needs of tomorrow in a more agile way 
  • Their current SCP tool needed to be replaced
  • For the project to deliver business value, the SCP community needed to be enabled to effectively use and adopt  the new process and tool after go-live


  • A state-of-the-art SCP technology was selected (OMP) to support the new model and new processes
  • Our MountK change management methodology was applied hand in hand with the program’s Prosci ADKAR methodology
  • We also supported in change management, testing & training
