Large multinational health care company listed among the Fortune 500. Active in three sectors, it manufactures and distributes medical devices, pharmaceutical products and consumer packaged goods.
Our client objective was to become more efficient, profitable and competitive by reorganizing its channel distribution across multiple warehouse locations in Europe. Both the physical network as well as the process and organization setup showed clear potential for consolidation, integration and standardisation.
We played a content & expertise role on customer facing & distribution processes and organizational transformation going from business case development over process design towards implementation of the final solution & deployment. Design workshop facilitation, adequate business validation and clear stakeholder communication were key in the process to be successful. As well as tight program management and change control.
Our client was able to integrate, streamline and standardise processes to enable cross-sector efficiency gains and customer focused synergies.
Also the organizational framework is set for future expansion / growth and roll-outs across other regions in Europe.
