Overview

Our mission was to establish common understanding between both parties on pre-acquisition organization structures, end-to-end processes and supporting system landscapes. To determine final integration scenarios by business area as well as to define and implement the related integration setup. Meanwhile managing the change process to ensure final embedding into the operational organization.

Client profile

A global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to bringing meaningful innovation to global health. Focusing on the research & development, production and marketing of vaccines and antibodies against infectious diseases worldwide.

Challenge

As a result of the acquisition of a vaccine business by a global / tier 1 life science company a supply chain integration was required to support the new and joint commercial (sales) strategy.

Solution

Bluecrux experts organized workshop driven knowledge transfer & review of current state processes, systems and responsibilities. Together with both parties, we defined and evaluated overall integration scenarios. We conducted detailed finale state process design & developed implementation action plans to realize the final supply chain model and manage the change.

Results

Neutral management of a complex integration process, resulting into aligned organizational structures & processes. Realization of integration synergies towards a (new) strategic direction.
